Praise from GJC guest journalists: “Alanya, a dream city”

A total of 220 journalists, 50 of them from 32 different countries, who came to Alanya as guests of the Global Journalism Council (GJC), visited the historical and touristic places of Alanya and enjoyed the sea by sailing on a tour boat.
The journalists, who explored Alanya within the scope of the 3rd Global Media Meeting, first visited Alanya Castle. After the tour of the Inner Castle, Bedesten and Ehmedek, the journalists descended to Damlataş by cable car and admired the beauty of Cleopatra beach seen from the cable car. After visiting Damlataş cave, the guest journalists went to İskele and visited the Red Tower and Tersane Naval Museum. Afterwards, the guests sailed from İskele with a tour boat and were served fish bread for lunch during a pleasant and entertaining cruise lasting 2 hours. After reaching Alanya Marina Weeding by boat, guest journalists were offered various food and drinks. Kazakh Cosmonaut Toktar Ebubekirov accompanied the guest journalists on the Alanya tour. Guest journalists, many of whom stated that it was their first time in Alanya, said, “Alanya is a dream city. It fascinated us. We will come again and we will also recommend it to our friends. We will tell about Alanya in our news and articles.”
